What to DO?

Martin Tennessee is quite possibly the most boring place I have ever lived in my entire life. Theres absolutely nothing to do. Ever. Going to class is just about the only thing that keeps me sane. I have yet to find anyone on campus or in this city to play music with. I don't think it's due to a lack of musicians, but a lack of serious musicians who dig the same styles of music I do. I need to get back to Memphis, and fast!

Back in Martin

Well, here I am again. Back in Martin Tennessee ready to finish the rest of my semester at UT Martin off and get the hell back to Memphis. Things are so different in this part of the south. The culture is so plain and boring, and almost no no one appreciates or listens to good music at all. I feel like I'm dreaming this whole experience up. Sometimes it seems like I'm in some weird twilight zone in Martin...

Well, if there's one thing I've learned from trying to be an indie musician, it's that it's no walk in the park. You've got to do everything yourself. From the promoting, to the marketing, to the advertising, to the publicity, the gig booking, the website building, networking, and on top of all that you still have to find time to work on your music. It's rough. Stay in school lol.
